Overview

The "Snowball" gives you detailed reporting on your report, providing details on where your ads are really serving. It does this by serving a bit of javascript tracking code alongside your creative, and then determining the ultimate referrer of the page where your ad is serving. The benefits of this are manifold:

  • You get transparency where your ads are running - protecting you from mis-represented inventory, or inventory you intended to exclude from your campaign
  • Ensures quality - whether or not your campaign is targeted using Classify data
  • Allows post-host contextual reporting - find out what contextual topics worked well for your campaign

Using the Classify pixel

All pixels must be associated to a "campaign ID". To use the pixel, there are three high level steps required:

  1. Creating the new campaign ID
  2. Generating the javascript code to associate with your creatives
  3. Pulling reports after the campaign has completed
